Due to its excellent mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion VIP Posterior is designed for fillings in posterior teeth, which are particularly vulnerable to the forces of occlusion.
Increased filler content (weight: 84%) makes the polymerization shrinkage significantly lower and thus forces acting on the cavity walls are minimized.
